Current Happenings and Upcoming Events
DECEMBER
Thursday December 1st: 7p.m. Monthly Meeting at Round Table Pizza.
Special Guest Speaker Dave Nagle.
This will be a return visit for Dave who gave us a fascinating presentation some 20+ years ago.
Back then, before it was popular, he was advocating diving via kayak. His talk encouraged many of our members to follow this lead.
He's a former member of the Sonoma County Sheriff's Dive Rescue Team and in 1982 he was a founding member of the Banzai Bozos,
an extreme kayaking club. see Banzai Bozos/SFGate. He recently sailed from Alaska to his home in Sonoma County.
He's all about anything relating to the ocean.
The public is invited and there is no charge for the event.

Who We Are
Redwood Empire Divers is a 20+ year old dive club based in Santa Rosa, California. We explore the waters off the
Sonoma and Mendocino coasts for game gathering, underwater photography and general recreation. Our club offers
opportunities for skin and SCUBA divers as well as those who may be thinking of getting into the sport. We have annual
camp outs on the North coast as well as organized trips to the Channel Islands in Southern California. Many of our
members have power boats as well as kayaks that are utilized for diving and exploring the waters off the California coast.
Our club is not exclusive to divers only, your whole family is welcome.
Please come and join us at one of our meetings and start diving the North coast today!
